Does anyone know how long it takes to hear from DWP regarding new award as I won my PIP appeal.
Its 3 weeks now, a long 3 weeks, and all Iv received is the tribunal letter.
I’m starting to worry that Iv heard nothing from them.

Any advise please

They have up to 4 weeks to decide if they are going to appeal on the grounds of a error of law if they don't you should get a award very soon

    Hi susan48

I'm afraid there is often a delay following a successful tribunal outcome although they are supposed to do it promptly. The DWP has one month to consider appealing but this is relatively unusual so hopefully they will simply pay you soon.

You could telephone the office handling your case and make sure they have received the tribunal's decision.

    Hi susan48,

PIP tend to start the renewal process 12 months before the current award is due to end so it may be that you will receive a claim form in November 2018.

    Hi,

It can take DWP 8 weeks to pay backdated money owed. There's nothing more you can do but wait to hear from them.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
