I didn't have a problem opening mine. I already knew what my award was before it arrived.
The 30 page assessment was truthful.

I created one of the campaign election videos for Labour, and Jeremy Corbyn,
This is a new version of Emeli Sande, Hope "You Are Not Alone
I highlighted everything that's wrong with this country from benefits, NHS, UC etc, but now we have to put up with the hate now that is the Tories.

I rang up for my assessment report and they told me a decision had been made. I asked what it was.

@susan48 and @charlene thank you, as you have made me feel less alone today. I am in the same situation as susan48 - there is no chance of anyone else taking on my mortgage because I don't work either. That means I have to stay with my ***** mortgage company. It doesn't seem to matter that I've never missed a payment in the 10 years I've had the mortgage! Still, if I can get it sorted I could drop down to a low mortgage payment and not need to go for the DWP loan. Fingers crossed.

@Governments_A_Joke, yeah I suffer from that one as well.  Went to an assessment yesterday and had to face the beast from the east, got an absolute  stinker of a head cold now.
Maybe I should use the return brown envelopes I have collected as part of my therapy to send them some evidence!

I used to work in a bank, for my sins, and they rather you spoke to them before you got in arrears, they can do this f2f or possibly online, not sure about online as it’s a long time since I left the banking wold.
just talk to them, I’m sure they will try there best to help

Not sure if this would help, but there are or were interest free mortages.
