Hello @zoro I am a Northern Soul fan and Motown . Used to go to the club scene in the North of England in the eighties.
When they was a soul revival. Now in those days night clubs were the proper thing. You could have a drink, bite to eat see a live band. Also may have pool tables or upstairs private bars and TV screens.
I also used well still do Elvis and the old rock n roll records, had to sell the collection to pay off the tax man sob, sob. Now all on CD. All my music on CD in the old days vinyl sell all that as well.
Love Motown those who know me, my knowledge and interest goes much further than the music.
Like also my Jazz used to play trombone and play the Swing stuff. Like Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr also of any of the Jazz greats Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday. Loads others.
Found out Vic Damone died recently great Italian born singer plus Tony Bennett.
Music for me was a release to stress. Coping with my anxiety and depression.
Know now Classic FM helps, love my Opera especially Italian has to be, plus having the radio on helps me.
Then the cheesy upbeat 60's songs that make good mood changes.
What do you like?

Hi @zoro I love music. Put the earphones on and float away to a better place. Funny thing is in my head I'm never disabled when I listen to music. Used to love to dance but now in my head I can still do the moves when I listen to music. It's my bit of escapism. Listen to all sorts from rock to classical if it does it for me it does it for me
