Would like to know how this will.affect my esa money

yes if/when you are transferred to universal credit you will no longer get esa

UC replaces it.
Please migrate though, try not to have any changes when your area goes live.Do not follow me, I don't know where I am going. -

If you do not receive premiums or other passported benefits you will remain outside UC. Your old ESA becomes new style ESA
New style ESA is contribution based only and relys on NI contributions
It is only paid for 365 days unless you are placed in the LCWRA group ( the old SG)
UC depends on income
You can get UC and new style ESA at the same time but ns ESA is deducted from UC
