Do I have to inform DWP that I'm in hospital?

How as an inpatient in hospital do you have to inform DWP iam in receipt of support group allowance,thank you.

Hi willie and welcome
you should report any change of circumstance immediately to the DWP, however if you are in hospital for less than 28 days it should make no difference
