i was force to change from DLA to PIP in June 2017 and It was awarded indefinitely and it will not be reviewed before May2027 and I awarded enhanced mobility and care,the care part I could not get the care element on DLA.I had tremendous help from Age UK,who came to my home and filled out the PIP forms and coralated all of my medical evidence for me as I have become visually impaired.I had home assessment carried out by Atos the HCP professional and he acted very professionally and appeared to have knowledge of all my conditions and the assessment lasted about 40 minutes and I was 68 when I was transferred over toPIP. I thought I would post this just to show there can be positive outcomes.i wish good luck to all who are trying to get just deserves.

I too got my transfer through.It was pretty straightforward once I had the assessment it took about 5 weeks as it was over Christmas.
Its a pity we only really hear the other end of the scale where people jump through hoops to get nowhere.
Its great to hear from others who have been treated fairly.

I also had a very good HCP. It was just before Christmas, I waited just over two weeks for my desicion, I was awarded enhanced on both. I just wish the rest of you could have positive HCP's and get the award you so rightly deserve. Some of these HCP's just don't understand how traumatic it is for us just to go and have a f2f. Good luck everyone who is waiting for their rightful desicion.

Nice to hear some positive post for a change ,it would be nice though on roughly where abouts in the country you are or what firm did the assessment?
Results I am informed could be a post code lottery ,how correct this is I don't know.
It has been informative for me though getting all my hospital records and drs medical notes having them sorted and reading comments noted on the docs ,should I need them they all in order and ready for submission.

As for Age UK @Sam_Scope they were my first port of call ,but sadley told no resources in my area for form filling ,but thanks to Steph ,(hope I spelled her name right)at Scope got the pip form filled out .
