Hello @DIAMONDS123 and welcome to the community. It is good to have you with us.
One of our specialist advisors will probably be along to talk to you about this, but, in the meanwhile, could you perhaps give us a little more detail for them to go on?
Very best wishes to you,
Richard -
Hi DIAMONDS and welcome
Unless the Doctors letter was very specific in that your friend could not go to an assessment centre and why, then they are unlikely to to receive a home visit. Any reference that it would be difficult to go etc will have a negative impact

Hi @DIAMONDS123
It can be very difficult to get a home visit sometimes. This is what is says on the CAB:If the location of your assessment is more than 90 minutes away by public transport and you have difficulty travelling long distances, you might be offered an alternative location or home visit.
If your GP normally visits you in your home, you might be offered a home visit instead of a having to go to an assessment centre.Scope

It highlights the only way that a home visit may be allowed - it is very restrictive
