I would be very happy in helping you with this as it should be very helpful for you????
Please please let me know if I can help you with this????? -
Hi,thank you for your reply, what does the (CB)&(IR) stand for after ESA? I get carers allowance paid directly to myself.
-
CB - contribution based
IR - income related
You cannot normally claim carers allowance for your self, either you care for someone and claim it or someone cares for you and they claim it

Hi,thank you for your reply,iv just checked my ESA,i get extra money for the categorys, severely disabled, disability income guarantee, for being in the support group and daily living expenses. It also says i havent enough N.i. contributions to be used in this assessment,so i think i will lose my ESA.
-
Unfortunately, not having enough NI contributions means that your ESA will be income related. and your fiances income will affect this as it depends on household income. Unless you can retain some part of your ESA you will also lose the premiums.
Your PIP award will not be affected

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated,i dont understand the bit about retaining part of my ESA,and losing my premiums, also would i still get carers allowance, through my cousin.so glad i will still get my PIP.
-
Income related takes into consideration your household income and savings , so depending on what your fiance brings might mean that you won't lose your entire ESA amount
Do you claim carers for looking after your cousin ?

Thank you so much for helping me.
