Hello,
I'm looking for a rental opportunity on behalf of a family member. I need something that is accessible for a wheelchair, preferably has a wet room, wide doors etc.
I am new to this and have no idea where to start with this kind of thing.
Is there anyone on here who could point me in the right direction to get some help?
Thank you

Hi Beth and a warm welcome.
I would contact your local authority, housing department.
You could also try Shelter.
Has your family member got a social worker or support worker?
Let us know how you get on.

Hello @atlas46
Thank you for messaging me.
I will try and contact them today, and try Shelter.
No my family member doesn't have a social/support worker. Her situation has just changed over the last few days with her partner, who had done everything in the 'carer' department.
I need accommodation and professional help really.
Thank you
