Hi @jfhsplitends
Thanks for getting in touch.
Has your daughter mentioned to you that she would like to move? Are you in contact with anybody from your local authority? If you could provide some more information I will do my best to try to help.

My daughter was in an abusive relationship, the police are involved. She got in touch with her brother who brought her to stay with me. We have contacted social services
i have been told to get her private accommodation or go on the waiting list for community or social housing and then her carers package will move to her new place. We have several concerns over her future any help will be appreciated thanks regards Joyce -
Hi @jfhsplitends
I'm really sorry to read that your daughter is going through a difficult time. Have you contacted your local council or Housing Associations?
I am going to tag my colleague @Jean_Scope into this discussion as she may be able to advise you further.
Stay in touch.

Hi Joyce
Thanks to @Richard_Scope for inviting me to join this discussion. I'm happy to advise but to be able signpost appropriately I will need to ask questions that wouldn't really be appropriate in a public forum. So perhaps it would be better if you email your query helpline@scope.org.uk
It will be allocated tome or one of my colleagues who can discuss the options with you.
Best Wishes

Hi...can you please tell me who is responsible for helping me find a home for my daughter who would need a live in carer, the social work tells me it’s not her.

I don't think any professional is going to step in and co-ordinate finding accommodation for your daughter unless she lacks the mental capacity to make her own decisions in which case it comes down to her appointee acting on her behalf.
From your earlier post it appears that you have already received advice that she should seek private accommodation and get on the waiting list for social housing. Has this advise been acted on? If your daughter hasn't yet done this because she lacks the ability to do so and doesn't have anyone to help her then maybe an advocate from a local advice charity might be able to do some work on her behalf if your have such an organisation in your area: http://www.adviceuk.org.uk/looking-for-advice/find-advice/
