Hellooo I'm Jo and I'm an independent Occupational Therapist. I teach self-management skills via video chat from the comfort of my own living room. Works out well for me since I live with hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome and a a wonky autonomic system so I need lots of rest breaks and horizontal time. I'm also visually impaired. Looking forward to some interesting discussion and I hope you're all having a lovely day.

Good to see you have joined the community, I think your professional and lived experience will be a great asset here.
Just for clarification, I should say the Jo and I know each other. We qualified as Occupational Therapists from the same university, although Jo was in the year above me.

Haha thanks @Sam_Scope & @Jean_Scope for the warm welcome. I absolutely love my job. Working from home with video chat appointments means I can also manage my own pain and fatigue really well. It's great to be able to do some work without too many negative consequences
