Hi, I'm holding a live band & auction fund raising event for my Daughter on Sept the 15th for an S.D.R operation not funded on the Nhs. Does anyone know of any willing companies that donate auction gifts for Cerebral palsy?
Thank you x

Hi @TeamLeonie
I would contact your local newspapers and local BBC and ITV news. Also is you haven't already set up a JustGiving page.

Hi @Richard_Scope
The local newspapers have been involved and we started a just giving page a month ago and we have done different things to raise money for Leonie. I've done all that but because they donate to a lot of charities and get asked a lot for donations. Itv are donating signed photos of the This morning team etc which is awesum! But I will have to asked our local papers to see if they will ask local companies if they will donate as they have just been following Leonies just giving page. But thank you x -
Have you contacted your local news stations to run a story about Leonie @TeamLeonie?Scope

@Richard_Scope I think that will have to be the next step. One of the regional TV stations were told by some of my customers from where I work & said they were going to get in contact with my boss but that never came about. But I'll email them as I know a few people have.
Kind regards x

Have you tried local football/Rugby teams? @TeamLeonie

@Richard_Scope It's a nightmare the lengths you go too, to raise money. So I know what your parents must have gone through & the heartache too.
My son manages our local first team. So seasons finishes about now so he's going to set up some tournaments involving local businesses to set up teams.
We have lots going on even my daughters one to one is doing a skydive in June. Because I'm not on social media friends & family been posting Leonies things & events & also events I Dont know others are doing. Luckily I do have some amazing people in my life to support me & help me with all this going on it just gets a bit upsetting sometimes .
It's just not knowing where to turn to be honest x -

Hi @TeamLeonie
Have you seen the Scope webpage that has fundraising ideas A-Z? Really it is aimed at people wanting to raise money for Scope but I think it has some creative ideas that could be used when fundraising for other causes:
