hi can you change a oral to paper hearing ?

Hi my sister is awaiting her tribunal up to now its been 28 weeks, but she is really bad at the moment with mental health issues regarding a devastating recent incident, would she be able to change to a paper hearing as no way will she be able to attend ? TIA

She can change. Instead why not ask for the earliest cancelled appointment?

Hi Katie
Your sister needs to put in a formal request for an oral hearing and outline why.
She should seek reasonable adjustments, like a telephone call from the panel to your sister.
It is very important that the panel are made aware of her problems.
I strongly recommend you seek the advice of a welfare rights officer, in this instance.

Thank you all for your replies, among her ailments she suffers severley with mental health problems, but my other sister was sexually assaulted and though were all affected its really shook her up and and shes suffering terrible
