Hello @stanthegunman and a warm welcome to you.
Thus far I've stuck to games played on my old playstations (1 and 3). Recently acquired Rome - Total War but am apprehensive of loading it and going online. One you're familiar with? What games do you prefer
Warmest best wishes,
Richard -
hello jennysdad Rome total war is a very good strategy game and i have it and played several in the total war series, i am a PC gamer and most of it on line, i play Armoured Warfare a lot, i was in the army for 22 years and loved driving tanks and tracked vehicles, also the new Farcry 5 which is also excellent. don't worry to much about going online with playstation they are very secure now enjoy total war i did.
all the best stanthegunman -
Hello @stanthegunman and thank you for getting back to me.
I bought Rome Total War as something to play on my PC, assuming it was like my ancient favourite Empire Earth and something I could simply play against the computer I haven't even tried to load it yet, but am not sure I want to get into the 'gaming community'. I'm very 'time' and 'cost' conscious.
I keep seeing Tank-based games and being tempted - my father was in the army, in REME, back in the late 1940s and 50s - so I'm a bit of a sucker for them.
22 years is a long time, Stan. You must have a ton of memories.
And all that aside, how are you?
Very best to you,
Richard
