Hi my names Robb and have had many year's of mental health issues from a very young age due to a very dysfunctional family life and violence, abuse etc. I was on the lower DLA and now have to change to PIP but this has put my mind into turmoil and feel like my life is hanging in the balance again .I only had a assessment in November 2017 and from the day the letter arrives til a decision my life falls apart.

Hello Robb @Traylen12 and a warm welcome to the community. Glad you have found us, and my apologies for our not getting back to you sooner. I have referred your post to our benefits specialists and hope they will be in touch with you fairly soon, probably after the weekend.
Your history of a dysfunctional home life, violence and abuse remind me very much of a good friend of mine in the community. If this is something you would like to talk about with somebody you're free to talk to me, or I will try to put him in touch with you, though you'll find plenty of others here who can relate to what you are saying and feeling.
I have to say 'try not to worry too much', but I know it's far easier said than done. Please bear with us and I hope very much that we will be able to help you.
    Warmest best wishes,
    Richard
