The most recent manifestation of my Parkinson's is that I dribble, can't open my mouth widely and I have a semi-permanent catch in my throat that makes swallowing uncomfortable. Anyone out there with any advice? Sick of eating mush ?

Hi @SimonP
Though this is tailored for people with CP, there is some information here about drooling that might help.
It says:Drooling - how to find help
Your family doctor can make referrals to specialist services. You can also contact speech and language therapy departments in hospitals or clinics without a referral or through the private sector.
You can get more detailed information about speech and language therapy services from The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

How are you getting on @SimonP ?

I now have a Parkinson's Nurse and have seen the Physio-terrorist. I've been referred to a speech Therapist for the dribbling and now swallowing issues.
I've been struggling with my mental health. No psych referral as of yet. Gave up fighting the DWP for now. Couldn't deal with their deliberate obfuscations and lies
Thanks for checking in..
