PIP is not about how many illnesses you have as two people with the same conditions can get different awards it's all about how your condition affects you carrying out the descriptors on the application form
-
My advice to all new people who are planning to claim PIP is study and research the PIP process before you put pen to paper to give yourself the best chance to be successful because if you get the wrong result and go down the appeal process the tribunal always refer back to what you put on the application form..
Too many people apply for PIP put all there conditions down get medical evidence and expect to get a result without knowing how PIP works -
Agreed is not about your illness, it's about how you are effected.
If you say you are not affected then you won't qualify.
I don't believe in telling people to lie. But some of us struggle on in silence and that's not what they want to hear. If you can't do something, be honest.Do not follow me, I don't know where I am going. -
I don't understand how someone, never mind the DWP saying it, can be too honest when completing the PIP claim form or at the face to face assessment. The world has gone mad!
