I spoke my answers and my mum wrote them down for me. I did find it quite emotionally painful to be brutally honest about how hindering my condition is, but that is my advice, just be honest. Also, definintely send any medical paperwork describing for condition, in the envelope along with your application form. And contact the DWP a couple of weeks after posting your application, to make sure they have received it.
