Moved from DLA to PIP, unhappy with change

Hi, Just received my PIP decision, both at the reduced rate, even though my DLA award 13 years ago was for life. As expected I am very upset at the result and as such I was just surfing the web looking for any info I may have missed. Then I came across SCOPE and thought I would have a look around here. Thanks for having me.

    Hello @Angelfire and a warm welcome to the community. Glad you have found us.
    The best resources for you to look at would probably be those in 'Talk about PIP?DLA' Those which are tabbed as 'closed' are still accessible, it just means the posts themselves cannot be commented on within the resource.
    Although it's not my specialism, we do have some excellent people here so please don't hesitate to ask any questions or seek any advice.

    A lot of people with indefinite awards felt it was for life. 
    What it actually meant, was for the life that the benefit existed. 
    I don't fit the new criteria and so have a reduced award. 
    Did you do the self assessment initially? I did both of them when I felt good and not.
