My son no longer wants his mobile as every time he gets a promotional text from the network he can't read it, and to him it's saying you're different from normal kids as you can't read. Has anyone found a network that can turn off promotional texts? My network (EE) and every shop I've been to say can't be done. Any info would be welcome.. Thanks, Matthew

Hi @Matt29, if he is on the same network you need only to text STOP to 2000
You may get a generic warning regarding extra cost, but this shouldn't happen. Also it used to take up to 30 days to stop, not sure if this is still the case.
Hope this helps.
