Hello Richard
I have Cerebral Palsy really appreciate some advice from you I want to strengthen biceps on my arms tone and stomach abs

I am a Community Volunteer Host. Please note: if I use the online community outside of its hours of administration, I am doing so in a personal capacity only.

    Hi @Globster
    Thanks for your post. I don't your level of mobility. I use a manual wheelchair so I like to use dumbbells to keep my arms and shoulders as strong as I can. I find abdominal exercises a lot more difficult.
    A book I have found useful is Zero Assitance, Resistance Training by Dan Highcock.
    I would recommend starting at a low weight and slowly build up. Also, stretch and warm up your arms before starting a prolonged exercise.

    There is a great social side to joining a gym. One of the downsides to exercising on your own can be the boredom factor.

    I did gym induction, but I found I could not use any of gym equipment while siting in my wheelchair
