how far back is pip back dated from

Hiya my assessment was today it went really well does anybody no how long it will take now and how far its back dated from

It can take a few weeks im afraid.but they will take your payments back to when you first put in your application.Unless you asked for them to backdate it when you filled in your form?they told me i could ask for it backdating up to 3 months.but it must be done at time of filling in form.
