Hello we all like a curry but find it all too complicated and do not want to make that phone call to the local take away.

These are my cheats I use and there is not much to do. Just simple and easy to cook.

CHICKPEA AND SPINACH

You will need a stockpot a blender or food processor.

Onions use food slicer food processor
Tin Chickpeas drained
Curry Powder 1 Teaspoon or more if you wish
Spinach frozen I use two or three cubes.
Passata Carton

1 Fry onions use food processor slicer. Use Veg oil.  Stockpot Colour

2. Add Curry Powder, Passata to blender or food processor blitz add to stockpot

3. Add Tin Chickpeas to Stockpot and simmer for five minutes add Spinach.  Let it wilt and simmer further five minutes.

4. Serve If you wish up to you add an Aubergine diced at stage three but I like as it is .  No coconut milk but if you wish to do so. You can.

THAI RED PRAWN CURRY

This is so easy I am laughing cheap and costs nothing to make just a few simple cheats.

You need a blender or food processor

Thai red curry paste
Bag of frozen prawns defrosted I use the cooked ones
Sachet or tin of coconut milk
To wok noodles these are noodles already cooked and come in a pack with two sets. Great to use no water. I also do not use a wok just a fry pan.

Blender 1teaspoon of Thai curry paste, Sachet of coconut mil or half a tin.

To a pan add sauce simmer add noodles and warm through   At end add Prawns already cooked so need to just warm through gentle.

Add if you wish from freezer peas, green beans or I have done this with those bags of stir fry veg.

Hello @debbiedo49 How are you  ? Good suggestions here from  my friend @Victoriad very much appreciated. You can buy Korma Sauce with the coconut milk added in. Add that to a blender.

Make it your own blitz it up add a carton passata easier then a tin. Add what ever you  wish to.  Understand I add in Peppers from the fridge. Just hack them up or use food processor slicer. To blender.  blitz.

Can but try also can buy if you do not want the jars or pastes you can buy a Korma Spice blend.  In a carton. Then add what ever you want.

Thing for me is at minute I will be doing more cheats and tips and tricks to add more. Little insights in to my mind of way of cooking.

Hey if it s good enough for Delia . Who remembers that book How to cheat at cooking or something like that. Came out in the early seventies.

I buy all the time is soup but condensed ones.  Often use these for pasta sauces and  Minestrone Soup plus you get an added bonus of a recipe on the back if I can read it.

Why need writing so small. Magnifying glass on the wants list.

Please do not get me wrong love cooking from scratch but even moi has limited capabilities.  Those days of exhaustion and depression and anxiety and need some thing quick easy to do.

Thanks for support and great to talk to you
