Does your condition restrict your ability to work or look for work?

I am in the process of applying for Universal Credit, and on the online form, one of the questions asks 'Does your condition restrict your ability to work or look for work?'

I was born with S
pina Bifida Myelomeningocele & Hydrocephalus, so yes it does. But on the next page it asks 'From which date have you been unable to work'.  I have worked almost continuously for the past 18 years, albeit part-time for the last 10.  I was made redundant on May 8th.  How am I supposed to answer this?

You have just answered the question, you worked part time for the last ten years because of your health problems which prevented you from to full time work which ended on 10-5-18 May you where made redundant. You can't put more than that.

I see, so you're saying that what they're really asking is 'From which date have you been unable to work full time?'  So I should put the date that I started working part time, ten years ago?  It also states that I need a fit note from my doctor, I don't see how that would be relevant as I have a life long disability.

    Thank you for your reply
