Just switched over to universal credit from j.s.a to find out that will not be getting disability premiums on it hence total claim is for £312. _ £26 advance repayment , so left with just under 290 pounds for month minus my outstanding gas bill of 50 pounds ,electric of 50 pounds ,, water of 7 pounds ,, tv licence of 10 pounds , and now council are refusing claim for reduction saying I should claim housing benefit ,, so they want 120 pounds a month so left with no money at all .
Questioned work coach stating dwp propaganda of no body will be worse off when switching ,, shame now been ignored by work coach

This might apply to you. If you have lost your sdp, it looks as it you shouldn't?

Do not follow me, I don't know where I am going. -
just signed up for universal credit and given award today. I currently on sick leave from work. So this month's amount is £546 they have deducted £678 from my 1209 allowance due every my £735 monthly salary and we receive carers allowance. This month my salary halves to 435 so this plus the 546 universal credit. My rent is 500 a month. I was getting 455 child tax credits plus 348 housing benefit. How do they expect people to survive and not go into debt. My statutory sick pay is due to run out and that's why I signed up universal credit to claim ESA.

okay so very confused about stupidly named 'universal credit' ! I mean what is the name about for a start is it universal because anyone who just arrived here can claim it?? what a joke the whole system is and if I was mentally well I wouldn't bother with it all but like most people on this website I have 'issues' and so we have to deal with the silly system. I am confused by the 'extra money' amount you are supposed to get every month on top of universal credit ; is it A; because you are solely on pip or is it b; because you are assessed as having a 'limited capability for work' after their esa type assessment to replace esa?? needs to be a lot clearer...............also what is the silly wording all about ; 'natural migration' I mean come on we don't talk like that in daily life not even the posh lot !!!

The only way now you can get preniums is if you provide your medical records to them ,even though you had assessment on p.I.p but apparantly that is a different dpt and irrelevant according to Blackpool payment centre manager .
So I have the grand sum of £291.00 per month to live on and then my p.I.p which now has to pay for some of my bills ,as I do not like going out and socialising ,, my t.v is my entertainment . -
Makes me mad because they keep preaching about no one will be out of pocket yet here we all are worse off
