I would be intesterested to participate in research of this mysterious condition that feels so hard to treat and would like to know if anybody else would be interested to participate as well.
I have fibromyalgia for 14yrs now, still struggling with it and life as a result.

I want to understand why and how it happens. As it would help me to accept the situation better.

Thanks for sharing this with us, @Valerie_8. It may be worth getting in touch with FMA UK to express an interest in participating in research, and you can also find any upcoming clinical trials on this NHS search page.

I too have fibro, 22 yrs and counting, I've never really been told much about it by the doctors but have found literature myself, I pace myself as much as I can and have help from a carer. Mine started after I developed sepsis due to a doctors negligence which is then hard to swallow as I feel it should never have happened, now in a wheelchair but can walk a few steps, starting back with part time work after having a bad spell for 3 yrs , I don't think anyone knows why to be honest but if I can help let me know , good luck Valerie 8 xxx
