DWP say that I am not entitled to any type of ESA because my partner works 16 hours. I have been retired from work due to ill health. Is this correct, if so can I get any other benefit?

Hi @Ry01, have you tried the online benefits calculator to see whether you may be entitled to anything else?0
-
I have yes, it says I may be eligible but DWP keeps saying I'm not, so I am seeing citizens advice at the end of the month0

Ahh I see- it's good to hear you're seeing CA, hopefully they'll be able to offer some practical support too.
You may like to look into PIP if you haven't already, as this is separate to ESA. You can do an online self-test here.0 -
DWP took me off DLA and declined PIP, I have a PIP tribunal of Friday, so nervous about it0

All the best for the appeal, @Ry01. You may like to take a look at Scope's guidance on appealing DWP decisions to help you prepare.
