hi, my 14 year old son has recently been told he needs a leg brace in his left leg. It’s the first time he’s ever had to have any aid. He goes to mainstream school and joins in with everything. We got the brace last week and have been trying different t style shoes to accommodate it. School have said he can wear trainers so I contacted Addidas and Nike to see if there was anyway I could buy odd sized trainers for him. Nike have been brilliant and have sorted out a way we can do this but Addidas are being, in my opinion, downright stubborn and unhelpful. They have said there is no way they can sell odd paired trainers.
Does anyone know of anywhere that do sell odd sized trainers?
Thank you

Hi, I went a couple of years only wearing one splint, what we did was buy two pairs of cheap trainers from a supermarket. Bit of a pain, but it did the job! Have you spoken to physio or orthotics? They used to order me piedro boots in split sizes for school.

I used to wear oversized trainers on both feet but as you can imagine that presented its own problems!
