Hi I have Ormandable Dystonia or Tardive Dyskinesia
I have been turned down for PIP
the assessor lied
my sister recorded it
I have been to traumatised to even listen to it
she ignored my mouth point tounge poking out and constant body movements
drop things all the time
have arthritis in my hand and arm
can’t go out alone as too anxious
its so unbearable
I am 61 years old worked till November when I could no longer control movement
I have had two assessments in the last four months
money for esa one for pip
what did I pay tax and insurance for.
It makes me feel like I am waiding throw mud ,
I have been living on £34 a week for food and everything else
after paying bedroom tax council tax water gas electric tv licence I feel suicidlal
I can’t get appointment with Doctor receptionist said Doctor won’t give me a letter so I can get more money we’re her words ,
I would have to pay she asked me to write out what I needed and why
I couldn’t do it as my mental health is suffering
I feel powerless in a situation out of my control
I have Paid to get a Nuerologgy appointment or wait six months I am still waiting mental health assessment
I will not take medication until I get a proper diagnosis
that goes against me as well

Hi @gingina11 and warm welcome to the community. I am so sorry to hear about your experiences! The community is a supportive environment so I hope we can help. Are you choosing to appeal your PIP decision? There is information about this on the Scope website.
If you are ever feeling suicidal then please do reach out for help. You can always contact the Samaritans and they can offer more tailored support.
I hope you have a lovely day and please let me know if there is anything else that we can do!Scope
