Hi @matt1682,
Welcome to Scope's online community! It's great to have you on board.
I've moved this post into our dedicated PIP category, where other members of our community may be able to help you.
Have you asked for a mandatory reconsideration? We have lots of information about the DWP appeals process on our website, which you may find useful.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions then please do get in touch!

@matt1682
The first stage of appeal is mandatory reconsideration (MR) which you ask DWP for.
advice now.org.uk/pip-tool
will generate an MR submission letter.
Disability Rights UK site (DRUK) has a good guide to PIP appeals.
71% of appeals succeed. My PIP mobility was increased to enhanced at a tribunal. -

Under DLA if you could not walk more than 50 metres you would have been awarded High Mobility. Under PIP the maximum is now 20 metres.
So those that claimed under DLA previously would have to show that their walking ability has since dropped by 30 metres (50 down to 20)
