Hi @Mikeinpain_1,
Welcome to Scope's online community! It's great to have you on board.
My Benefits and Work have an online PIP self-test form which may be of interest to you for giving you an idea of how many points you could potentially score if you were assessed for PIP.
I hope this helps. Do let us know if you have any other questions!

It doesn't matter what the medical complaint is. PIP is governed by the number of points you get based on the specific descriptors. To get anywhere with PIP you have only to consider what the impact is on your life caused by the conditions that you have. Then you try to match the various descriptors to the various impacts. Then you have to prove that those descriptors apply to you using independent evidence. Once that is done then you can read off how many points you would get.Mikeinpain_1 said:For 30 yrs i was diagnosed as having m e and had dla payment but when it changed to pip they stopped my payments but since then it seems i have rheaumatoid arthritis i find it hard to cope with the pain and i am trying to work 3 days a week we are struggling as they now want full rent and full council tax i only earn 800 a month my wife is 67 and retired how to i stand to reaply for pip i am under the hospital
