in PIP, DLA, and AA
it seems pointless in tapeing your assessment if you cant see the report written at the time ?yes i assume the hcp will write it out after and just use the computer for referance but then we do hear of those who say it sounded like someone else I wonder if they could be made to complete the report in the time you are there then print it so you have a copy which cannot be refuted prob only take an hour  which seems fine as ftof is done in15mins well mine was anyway

    Why would they write it there and then and give it to you when you can request a copy to be posted out once it has been written.

    Also recording it is harder than it sounds as you need to seek special permission in advance and use specialist equiptment. Not easy to do at all.

    why would they not give you a copy there and then it might stop people getting refused but then you are there to be assessed not have a writing compition  my report only states what i did or not not that i could not do because of this or that  but the point is tapeing wont give a view it will only confirm if yes you were asked or you did answer thats how i view it

    I can think of one very good reason. If they did all of the work in front of you and handed you a copy of the report the easiest and most likely thing that the claimant would do is read it before leaving the assessment room.
    If you thought it was wrong would you be likely to challenge the assessor there and then?
    H&S comes into play and  the assessor would not want to be placed in that situation.

    That I believe is what they would want to avoid. Some people may well be OK some may get a little 'annoyed'. From a H&S point of view they have to consider the assessor's wellbeing. Besides which the assessor won't have time to sit and discuss what they have written. 
    As I say it's a non starter.
