I am registered disabled, i have COPD and a degenerating spine which means i have to walk with sticks or use a wheelchair. I am 50 years old and a single parent to my daughter. I also have falls which is a problem to me. I am quite isolated as can't go out much.

Hi Kat, welcome to the site,l also have a disc disorder and fall frequently, had an assessment with pip, awaiting an answer, it's a bit of a worry

I bet!! They're eastwards I hear, but if you do get turned down make sure you appeal! I'm on DLA and am waiting anxiously for them to demand I come in for an assessment! Hope it goes well. Will keep fingers crossed!

I was on DLA for a few years, got moved over to pip three years ago, had nothing but hassle with them ever since, I've been trying to get this current thing sorted since Jan 4, Thank-you for your support

Don't be sorry love, I've become very complacent with it all now, phoned dwp yesterday, hopefully have an answer within three weeks, let's hope they backdate it all x

I must admit l felt like the lady was trying to be to nice at first, then her demeanour changed, she was twisting my answers felt really ill after l came out, they wouldn't change the date either, the first time l was I'm hospital, had to go second time although it was a day after hand surgery x
