I am unsure of an answer. Have you contacted PIP website for qualifying criteria..

Benefits are complex and confusing. Have a look at our benefit information, advice for answers.
Consider also speaking to CAB . Can help with forms, plus have a lot of knowledge and expertise.

It's for my appeal. The DWP failed me on their assessment.

PIP isn't awarded based on a diagnosis, it totally depends how those conditions affect you daily. Good luck.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Hi @cazpatcha
Have you tried the PIP self test to see how you could possibly score? As @poppy123456 says, it;s not about the diagnosis but how it affects you in day to day life.

@cazpatcha You may also find this page useful: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/pip/appeals/how-decisions-are-made/
the page also contains a link to the descriptors used to describe the help you need and how many points each one is worth. -
Id suggest you make an appointment with your local disability advice team and they will help you complete the mandatory consideration process. If you have a support worker ask them to write a letter, and also your Gp - you can submit these as supporting evidence.
