hi all, I had my f2f today, home visit. He was a lovely guy, I’ve read some stories about how they pretend to be friendly but I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and took him as I found him, he even said things like “if you can’t do this movement don’t force yourself because the government will think you can do it all the time and it won’t work in your favour” “don’t feel bad just think as NI as car insurance, you wouldn’t feel bad taking help from them if you had an accident would you?” etc. Very reassuring man! So I’m staying hopeful that he’s as honest as he was helpful!.. Anyways my question is how do I request my report ASAP? I live in wales and it was done by CAPITA if that makes a difference. Also- anybody in wales recently had award that can give me accurate timeline? He said about 4 weeks Thank you!

You need to ring DWP to request a copy of the report but i'd wait until at least the end of the week before doing this. They won't send a copy of the report to you until they've received both copies back.... paper copy and digital copy and this can take a few days.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Is this the new version of what an assessor is now like?
Such a shame as the missing of information and inaccuracies in a report along with the questions about a dog, driving etc will be sorely missed!

    Hi @lukiz94
Sounds a bit like my assessor was.Im in Mid Wales.Altogether from face to face until actual decision was reached took about eight weeks this included the Christmas period. However this is no guarantee your timeline will be the same.Good luck.

    Yes @dignifieddoll
I agree there are vast discrepancies in training and approach between assessors I was lucky to have had a fair one.

no you don't really. It is the fun part of PIP when you are made to feel like a criminal at the face to face assessment, and then added to that you get to read a report allegedly relating to you but it isn't. They find miraculous cures for incurable illnesses and disabilities.
Were would you be if you had nothing to complain about?
