Hi, claiming esa and permitted work, a person with learning disability and downs syndome, are they entitled to free prescriptions?

If you qualify for income-related ESA, you automatically qualify for free prescriptions.
If you qualify for contribution based ESA, you might qualify for free prescriptions, depending on what your total household income is or what conditions you need medication for.If you don't automatically qualify, you can find the HC1 form you need to complete to apply for free prescriptions on this NHS Low Income Scheme page.
