Still, years on, still a heartbreak

Dear @welshbirdne
That does indeed sound heartbreaking...
I wonder whether you've been able to talk about your loss to anyone?
I am a counsellor but this isn't an area I have any experience in so I had a quick look and it looks like you can get specialist post-abortion counselling. I don't think it would matter that it was years ago in fact it would make it all the more relevant as you are still very affected by what happened. I wonder whether you could find a service near to you in this list:

Best wishes.

Hi @welshbirdne
That must have been a really tough thing for you to go through, as @emmab says, do you think some form of talking therapy could help you?

I don't know. Just wondered if I could help anyone else. The first twin died and consultant just didn't care. Then had 2 or 3 hours where the consultant tried to insert poison into my babys heart.0

Hi @welshbirdne
That sounds very traumatic to me... It would be great if you could help someone else and then perhaps something positive could come out of your experience through doing that? I guess that would depend on whether you feel you could cope with hearing someone else's experience particularly if it reminds you of your own?
If you are looking to help others you could contact your local service in the link above to see if there is any way you could help?
Best wishes.
