Thanks sam i thought i had it lol.now i use a panasonic lumix fz1000 its a bridge camera so no changing lenses in the field , its bigger than a compact camera but has a good zoom on it , i can manage it fine on my scooter thought the birds do look rather startled when i come rattling along , you can't creep up on them
