Advice for PIP home visit?

Hi everyone I have fybermalga depression & anxiety ime on standard pip for daily living ime haveing a home atos visit on Monday any advice would be helpful ime so stressed over this

    Please can I advise have a look at our benefit information on PIP. Lots of comments from members and plenty of tips and advice .

    I know you are anxious and to reassure you are not alone.  Many of our community can identify what you are going through.  Including myself.

    Have you got any body to support you on the day. Neighbour or family or a friend.

    Hi there yes I have a family member who is going to be in my home with me on the day of my home assessment it’s so stressful all this it’s like ur being judged which I think is so wrong

    Hi just don't let them do anything you cannot do I've got a back condition and in never got out of bed she told thm I walked fine I never moved so just be careful gudgeon luck u b fine x

    I was the same as you I was dreading it for weeks reading horror stories about the way people were treated etc but when it got to the actual day I realised I was acting like I wasnt entitled as tho I wasn't sick so took the attitude of I'm in agony I need help and don't have to exaggerate or worry I was just honest took my time to answer and if the exercise was something I couldn't do I just said I can't do that, I was awarded daily living component this is my first time applying for it the points I got seem acceptable for what I said except for bathing and dressing they wrote can do so with an aid but I can't so I have sent in a Mr, but in the whole not to bad yes they are fly and ask you silly things like what do you do for fun or socialising? But I don't anymore so I just told them that and I don't have fun cause I'm in constant pain but just remember you are ill and have nothing to hide think it all depends on the evaluator you get and there's no point worrying as it won't change the outcome I had it in my mind that if I got denied I'd appeal and that would be that, hope it goes well for you
