Will I be contacted regarding the new rules on mobility for psychological distress?

I've searched the internet and can't find an answer to my question ?
I've been receiving pip for a few years standard living no mobility. I last renewed my claim April 2017. Will I be contacted regarding the new rules on mobility for psychological distress? There is some confusion over the november2016 date. Is a renewal the same as a new claim for this purpose?
Many thanks
Amanda

Hello @mand6 Pleased to meet you welcome.
Thank you for your question and joining.
I am unsure of an answer to your question. Some one will know from our community or a member of our team.
Have you considered speaking to CAB for any advice.
Wanted to add we are a supportive community. Friendly, care and share.

Thought I'd try here before ringing the dreaded pip helpline ? -
Hello @mand6 Thanks very much being one of the team of community champions.
Want you to get the right information and advice. There are members of our community who have valuable insights into the complexities of the benefit system.
I would consider speaking to CAB because I know if you ring the PIP helpline get the run around. Do know used CAB myself for form filing in and their expertise, knowledge worth a look and chat to. Even I could understand in simple terms what CAB were telling me.
The PIP lifeline or helpline whatever it is called. All I get when I ring is that music and the cold people on the other end. Never get a definite answer and still come away stunned amazed. Clueless one headache and need a lie down.
One of my pills to calm me.
Rather speak to CAB or welfare rights more intuition with my intelligent self.
All I can say .
We are here to help and support you any way which we can.
Please ask as my friend as just added @Ami2301 . Another community champion so you have plenty of good advice from both of us.
Pleasure to meet you
