Hi I have just been giving my results of an assessment I had 8 weeks ago I was getting high pip and mobility car This is now been taken off me and from the out come I’ve lost most of my pip I had to give the car back as well. I am so upset with this as I can not even walk anywhere with out stopping to breath I really don’t know what to do ?

Sorry that has happened. Understand this . I have lost my Motability car as well. Have got standard rate of PIP.
Have to hand back the car this week.
You can appeal we have lots of information about appealing a DWP decision on our website.
The scheme providers Motability have they been in touch. I received a letter outlining the choices and options . Include a booklet.
Including financial incentives all depends how long you have been on the scheme.
I know they state what you need to do. You can contact their service team on 0300 456 4566.
There is also a section of their FAQ page on their website. Dedicated to what happens next. As you do qualify for the enhanced rate.
They have a useful page on staying mobile after the Motability scheme which I hope you find useful.

I understand this situation as I know many members are going through this.
I know this system is failing many of our members.
I myself have to say that will have to use Taxis and have already shopped on line which is helping me a lot.
The booklet you get from the scheme providers has lots of suggestions in it.
Understand if you need to appeal please speak to CAB and they have lots of advice and expertise.

Hi, so sorry to hear of your stressful time, the same happened to me earlier in the year, i appealed and got the decision over turned, dont give up ?

You must put in for a mandatory reconsideration. I know many people do not get the result changed and have to go for appeal but sometimes they do. My husbands was changed from standard mobility to enhanced at MR. The nurse said my husband wasn't sweating, he wasn't breathless - we explained in MR that No, he wasn't breathless, he had been sat down for half an hour before being called and the assessment room was about 3 metres away. Husband suffers with COPD and severe vascular probs in left leg. Prob is they dont see you in real life and all the struggles you have to go through - all they have is a tiny snapshot of you. Get a copy of report, go through it with a fine toothcomb. Good luck.
