    Hi @careyhill.

Welcome to the community. As far as I understand, if your son has had any overnight stays in hospital, they will want to do calculations and make deductions from the PIP based on the information you provide. It sounds like they're just trying to calculate what back pay you are owed.  If DWP wanted to appeal the tribunal decision, they have the same rights as you do and so have to do so within 28 days, so i think if they were going to do this they will have done by now.

I think the sooner you provide them with the info they have asked for, the sooner you should be paid. However, it would be worth maybe giving them a call to clarify, do you feel able to do this?

I hope you get the answers that you need.

    Hi,

Claire is correct. This is just a standard question they ask people after a Tribunal win, it's a good thing and just means they will pay the backdated money as soon as they know the details.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

The DWP are ready to make a payment. They want to know if you have spent more than 28 days in hospital.

@careyhill, great news, you must be over the moon and relieved. It's such a stressful process and they don't make it easy.

Glad to hear you're all sorted.
