im just enquiring for a friend, she is in the process of waiting for her tribunal, she has had the letter from the court accepting the appeal, and she has got herself an advocate but they have told her at times the DWP will contact and try and settle out of court. She is just wanting to know if this is true and is it way before it’s due to go to court? Or literally just before?

Thank you I will tell her, I was lucky enough to get my PIP from assessment so I’m clueless to all this. She didn’t know this was a thing, so she was just wondering. I think she is wanting to go the full way. Just wanting to know what happens etc thanks1
