It can take that long, it depends on how busy that department is. You can telephone them using the number on the original letter asking you to attend the assessment
-
I waited about 6 weeks for my decision.
-
Thankyou
-
I rang after 4 weeks they told me my desicion over the phone xx
-
Hi @poppy60 i went last week and she said waiting time is 4 to 8 weeks
-
There's no timescales. Some wait just 2 weeks, while others wait 8 weeks or more. Backlog is just one of many things that can delay a decision.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
My assessment was June 8th I've only just got my reply from DM Standard living enhanced mobility so I'm happy
-
It does depend on where you are in the country and what backlogs they have.

Phone DWP and request your copy of your acessment report this will give you an idea on what your award may, should be. The report takes about 14 days to arrive once requested. Good luck.

@wilko I asked for my report 3 days after assessment it was with me two days later / do really quick on that
