Hi,SSP is he first thing you should claim, have you claimed this? It's payable for 28 weeks. After this you'll be able to claim Contributions based ESA if your area isn't a full Universal Credit area, if it is then it's New Style Contributions based ESA providing you've paid enough NI contributions in the previous 2 tax years. It will also depend on the amount of your Ill health pension, whether your claim will be successful or not. Anything £85 per week and above will affect the amount of ESA you can claim.Any other benefits you can claim will depend on your circumstances and household income.Check if your area is a full UC area here. http://ucpostcode.entitledto.co.uk/ucdate
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
