Hi. This is the letter regarding my appeal. It has been allowed and it says I should be put on LCWRA as opposed to LCW I was downgraded to in January. Does anyone know if the DWP always appeals against this?. How long does it take to become official? Do I get backdated allowance to January which is £200 per month extra?

I hope it is. The extra money will help me get to councilling sessions which I have not been able to goto as much as I like since January. If I go back onto LCWRA again it's £200 extra a month. It will pay for taxis as I can't go on the bus by myself.0

I just hope the DWP doesn't appeal it. I couldn't cope with having to do it all again.0

But does anyone know if the DWP will appeal? What are my chances it stands?0

DWP can only appeal the decision if an error in law has been made. To find this they must first ask HMCTS for the statement of reasons and they have 28 days to request this. I believe it's rare to find the error but it has been known. Easier said than done i know but i wouldn't worry too much.
