Hi everyone I just been diagnosed by my doctor is being disabled as I have a severe back problem where I have a neuro stimulator fitted but I am still taking so many drugs to try and compensate for the pain I am on loads of tramadol and gabapentin but I still get loads of spasms and I end up in hospital does anyone else have this problem. As its making me so low. Is so does anybody have any ideas or any ways to get through the pain situation when it starts.

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis, it sounds really difficult.
Have you been referred to a pain clinic?
The NHS also have some advice around self help and reducing pain here that might help?
