hi my 4 year daughter has a cyclical vomiting syndrome, can DLA or PIP be claimed?

    Your daughter can only claim DLA or try to as PIP is for 16 yr and older.

    For a 4 year old you can only claim DLA.

    You have to demonstrate and prove that she requires more care and/or is less able to mobilise than another child of the same age who has no mental or physical issues.

    @lissyb93 I feel your and your daughters pain, i’m 34 and have just recently been diagnosed with this condition. So sorry to hear your in this position. David

    Is your daughter in school or nursery?  A letter of support from the school would be really helpful for a DLA claim.
