Hi I'm in recipient of ESA I had to go for a medical due to my illness I couldn't go my doctor and the hospital sent a letter to request a home visit which the medical centre said they hadn't received ESA accepted my excuse but they have referred it back over to the medical assessment centre I have a new appointment and they no I can't go to it can anyone advise what to do next I've contacted my local MP wrote a letter to ESA still refusing

Hi,Do you attend hospital and GP appointments? If you do then they will expect you to be able to attend the assessment for ESA.You can request a reasonable adjustment (RA) and see if that helps.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

No I don't go to see the doctor I can talk to them online or I call them I went once to the hospital to get a diagnosis that's all they told me to get a letter to get a home visit which I did

Did the letter state the reasons why you can't attend the assessment centre? If it did and they still refuse try the RA route as mentioned above.
