My wife has been on incapacity benefit due to health/mental health issues since 2007. She was transferred from higher rate incapacity to esa. We were sent forms for possible back paymemt for 2012 to 2015. Part of this time we were not together. A) Are we due a back payment?
what is the timescale for any repayment?

Understand benefits are complex and confusing. Please can I suggest consider speaking to CAB. They have a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
We are a supportive community. Friendly, care and share.
Please ask if we can advise on anything. Some one will know.
Please take care

Hi @Bunny2001, and a warm welcome to the community!
I'm afraid I don't know the answer to this myself, but we have lots of knowledgeable members here on the community who will hopefully be in touch soon.0 -
